“La città per il verde” award

At the 7th edition of Myplant & Garden in Milan, during the 'La città per il verde' award promoted by the publishing house 'Il verde editoriale', the Municipality of Trento received a special mention from the jury in the category 'urban green - municipalities with over 50,000 inhabitants' for the project by PXC-paesaggistipercaso of the new public garden in Salè di Povo, with the motivation 'transformation of an uncultivated and abandoned area into a new space for children to play and for the elderly to socialise. The project is inspired by the typical agricultural environments of the area: a rustic lawn with fruit and flowering trees, borders of aromatic plants and flowers typical of the neighbourhood's vegetable gardens and orchards. The playground is an invitation to adventure and is equipped with games differentiated by age group. Pupils from a nearby school also collaborated in the design. Giuseppe Bagnoli

Architect specialized in landscape design. Graduated in 1999 from the architecture department in Florence, he subsequently obtained the master in landscape design in 2005. Co-founder and partner of PXC, he is project manager and works supervisor. He mainly deals with private garden design, the study of historical and archeological landscape, the restoration of historic parks and gardens. From 2000 to 2006 he collaborates with the landscape architect Mariachiara Pozzana in Florence working in the field of private gardens and restoration of historic parks. From 2009 he is member of landscape commissions in many municipalities of Firenze, Prato and Pistoia provinces. He was a teacher in the landscape design lab of the “Specialization course for maintenance of historic parks” organized by the associations Paesaggi e Giardini and Per Boboli. He collaborates with Cooperativa Archeologia scrl as a consultant for the landscape design in archeological sites.
